Crafted by writers for writers…
The conference kicks off Friday evening at the Tacoma Community College Gig Harbor campus with a plenary session keynoted by prominent author and Pacific Northwest native, Garth Stein. Following his presentation, Mr. Stein will be available to conference participants during an informal mixer and book signing. Saturday activities begin at 8:30am with a master class taught by Garth Stein and panels of agents and editors. A full complement of classes, workshops, and panels focusing on the craft and business of writing, as well as individual appointments with agents are scheduled throughout the day. Mostly Books will be in attendance and have copies of our presenters’ works available for purchase. The conference wraps up with a final hour promoting conversation and networking among conference attendees and presenters. Designed to provide writers with an intimate setting in which to hone their craft, conference attendance will be limited to one hundred participants. Conference registration is closed for the 2015 Write in the Harbor Regional Writer’s Conference.
