Crafted by writers for writers…

Hosted by Tacoma Community CollegeWrite in the Harbor’s third annual regional conference for writers will be held in Gig Harbor, Washington, on Friday and Saturday, November 3 and 4.

The conference kicks off Friday evening at the Tacoma Community College Gig Harbor campus with a plenary session keynoted by J.A. Jance. Saturday activities include a master class taught by J.A. Jance and a full complement of classes, workshops, and panels focusing on the craft and business of writing. There will be a book store on site with copies of presenters’ works available for purchase. Designed to provide writers with an intimate setting in which to hone their craft, conference attendance will be limited to 75 participants.

This year at the Write in the Harbor conference we will have sessions on a wide variety of genres as well as our general writing and publishing sessions. Learn more about literary and commercial fiction genres and expand your writer’s toolbox to create richer and more interesting stories. This includes building better relationships between characters, creating fantastic or realistic worlds, and constructing a sense of suspense and mystery into your work.

Please check these web pages often for updated information regarding conference content and registration.
