Through instruction in basic watercolor technique students will learn to paint effective and fun landscapes in this step-by-step course. Working on small studies, complex shapes, and finished pieces you will learn to observe color and changing light. 4 sessions
- Sakura Koi Watercolor 12 set or any other set of watercolors that you like
- Strathmore 400 Cold-press Watercolor Paper (recommend 9×12) *students should purchase size that is most comfortable for them
- Princeton Brushes: round #0 &2, flat 1/4 inch *students may want to purchase more brushes, these are the basic needs.
- Palette/mixing tray
- Water Container
- Bag to carry supplies
- Drawing/painting board for paper with clips or tape
Because you will be painting outside, please bring things that will make that more comfortable for you (hat, sleeves, sunscreen, bug spray, water to drink, etc)
